Embarking on the Advanced Management Program Journey

As I embark on the Advanced Management Program (AMP) journey at Harvard Business School, I am filled with a mix of excitement and gratitude. I am grateful to the leadership team at Trimble for providing me with the opportunity to invest in myself and further my professional development. In particular, I am deeply grateful to Rob Painter, the CEO of Trimble, a Harvard Business School Alumni, for his actions as a leader, serving as a constant source of inspiration and encouragement for me to pursue this program. His leadership style and strategic thinking have been a model for me, and I am eager to gain the same level of knowledge and skills that he possesses through this program. I am beyond grateful to my husband Rajesh and daughter Trisha for their unwavering support and encouragement as I embark on this journey of growth. Their constant belief in me and my abilities has given me the strength and courage to take on this challenging and rewarding opportunity.

The program promises to bring about a full-scale change in the way I approach leadership and strategy, equipping me with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the rapidly changing business landscape.

I am excited and humbled by the opportunity to interact and learn from my 186 accomplished peers in the program, who are leaders in their respective fields and span 50 industries and 50 countries. I am aware that I have a lot to learn and I am looking forward to gaining insights, perspectives and expertise from these accomplished individuals who are on this journey with me.

As the program progresses, I am hopeful that I will emerge from it with a better understanding of leadership and strategy, and I am eager to apply my new knowledge and skills to my organization and my non-profit.

Tommy Hanninen, one of my peers in the program from Finland, said "Let's make this journey unforgettable." With this in mind, I am excited to capture the inspiring moments and valuable lessons that I will gain through the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School. This blog is intended to be a reflection of my journey and a way to preserve the memories, insights and experiences that will last a lifetime.
